Assessing Kindergarten Readiness

The Kindergarten Readiness document was designed to help assess your child's readiness for kindergarten. It may be downloaded here. Any questions or concerns should be discussed with the principal or kindergarten teacher during the application process.

Kindergarten Registration

There are slots available for kindergarten enrollment for the current school year. Please call the school office for details and updated information at (415) 648-2055.

  1. Pick up an Application Packet from the school office.
  2. Have the Preschool that your child is attending complete the Preschool Questionnaire and have the Preschool and only the Preschool, mail it to St. Paul’s School, Attention: Admissions no later than December 16.
  3. No later than December 16, parents are to submit to the school office:
    bullet a completed application
    bullet the original copies of the Birth and Baptism Certificates which will be returned
    bullet current record of all immunizations
    bullet $75.00 non-refundable Application Fee
    We must also have the completed Preschool Questionnaire by this date. Your Application is not considered complete until all of the above-referenced information is submitted to the office. Your child will not be scheduled for a testing date until this Application Process is complete.
  4. The date currently scheduled for testing is January 16. You will be notified of acceptance (or wait-list) by mail within two weeks of your child’s testing date. Once you have received notification of acceptance, you must come to the school office by the date listed on your acceptance letter to register your child.
