Overview

St. Paul's is a Catholic elementary school serving children in grades kindergarten through 8th. Housed in an attractive new building at 29th and Church Streets in San Francisco's Noe Valley neighborhood, St. Paul's has one classroom per grade. Each class averages less than 30 students, with full-time para-professionals assigned for grades K-3. Students are attracted from all parts of the city and Bay Area. Extended care is available both before and after-school hours, on full-time, part-time or drop-in basis.

In July 2004, St. Paul's School was awarded the highest accreditation - full 6 years - from WASC, the Western Association of Secondary Schools and Colleges and the Western Catholic Educational Association.

St. Paul's offers an education that prepares students to become responsible, Christian adults. With spacious classrooms, our school is large enough to accommodate several new students per grade. In addition to nine regular classrooms, our school has special rooms for art, science, and extended care. There is also a technology/library center and a beautiful gym/parish center.

St. Paul's School offers a full-day Kindergarten program. The curriculum includes: religion, math, reading, language arts, science, computer education, music, physical education and art. We also have an Athletic Program that is available to our students.

Our school offers an extended care program on a full-time basis or on a drop-in basis. Students may arrive as early as 7:00 am and may remain until 6:00 pm on school days. Students who attend our extended care program are given a nutritious snack every afternoon. Ample time is available for students to play (both inside and outside), complete homework and participate in special activities. More information about our extended care program may be obtained from the school office at (415) 648-2055.

Parents who are interested in looking at our program in action may come on Tuesday mornings from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. These classroom observations are by appointment only. Please call our office to set up an appointment.

If you have other questions about our school and curriculum please feel free to phone our office. One of our friendly staff will be able to assist you.
