Parent participation is vitally important to the quality of our children's
educational experience. Research proves that schools with
actively involved parents are more successful. In addition,
as a Catholic institution, we do not receive any state or
federal tax dollars. Tuition does not meet all of our expenses.
Contributed service helps defray the cost of operating our
school. At St. Paul's, two-parent families are required to
give forty (40) hours of service to the school/parish each
year. Single-parent families are required to give twenty (20)
hours of service.
Parents/Guardians are responsible for keeping track of their own hours on a Parent Service HourReport Form. All hours are subject to verification by the service hour coordinator.
To report hours, return the Parent Service Form to the school office three times a year – November , February & April (Please keep a copy for yourself). You are encouraged to report the number of service you have above the required minimum. “Extra” parent service hours are not carried over to the following year. All service hours begin each June and end each May for the school year.
